My family (husband, myself, 12-year-old daughter) and I have lived in nearby Bucks County for 12 years....but while we've traveled many places, we'd never been to the Italian Market. Looking for something fun one weekend, we decided to take the Urban Adventures tour of the area, just to see what it was like. And - wow, what a treat! Our tour guide was Nina, and from the first minute, she made us feel like we were a warm group of friends strolling through one of her favorite parts of Philadelphia. She not only showed us some of the best shops in the Market, and introduced us to the shopkeepers, but went out of her way to give us insights from someone who shops in the Market every Saturday. She guided us on which shops specialize in which items, and made sure that everywhere we went, if we wanted to purchase something, we received a discount for the purchase. She showed us shops that, personally, I never would have gone into on our own; she showed us a whole new world while she was telling us some wonderful stories about the area. The bottom line? This is a fantastic tour for visitors to Philadelphia, because you'll see some famous sights and experience a wonderful part of the city.....but locals will benefit even more, because we're lucky enough to be able to go back and shop again and again at the wonderful stores, and see the warm and welcoming people, that make the Italian Market what it is.

Lenny was amazing! She showed us not only the food culture of Valencia but also included many other interesting historical locations around Valencia during our walk. Would 100% recommend Lenny to other people traveling to Valencia!

It was a great tour and my guide was wonderful, however, it was touted as more of a food tour and it was less that and more cultural compared to similarly advertised tours Ive taken in Singapore, Vietnam and China. It was fine, but certainly not the food centric.

Terrific tour. Loved the combination of walking, eating, and riding the streetcar. Stacy was a great guide too.
