Itinerary:
Hear the story of how Charlotte came to be while riding by the city’s oldest homes and newest postmodern skyscrapers. Taste an unforgettable Uptown Charlotte specialty – fresh, warm cornbread with honey butter. Head to South End and learn about Charlotte’s first industrial area (a neighborhood that was recently named the third best comeback neighborhood of the southeast). Taste fried chicken wings from South End’s legendary establishment. Sound like fun? It's all in a day's work on this Charlotte sightseeing tour!
We will cruise along the tree-lined streets and learn the history of Dilworth and Myers Park, Charlotte’s first suburban neighborhoods.
After displaying our best manners in one of Charlotte’s more proper places, we hang out in the more fun and casual neighborhoods. Plaza Midwood is easily Charlotte’s most diverse and pedestrian-friendly neighborhood. You’ll hear the laughter, music, and conversation pouring out of the numerous restaurants and shops. We will stop at a local favorite and pick up a local favorite, fried pickles from Charlotte’s most famous dive.
Just down The Plaza and around the corner is NODA, the must-see budding arts district with a lively night life. We will stop at one of the hottest location in Charlotte, our very own 24 hr French bakery.
Your Charlotte Urban Adventures tour will show you some of the best of what Charlotte has to offer.
