Itinerary:

Escape the centre of the city and discover the peace of Lincoln Park on this unique Chicago sightseeing tour. Begin the tour wandering among the orchids, ferns and lush garden beds in the Lincoln Park Conservatory. Built over 100 years ago, this thriving conservatory provides a refuge from the harsh Chicago climate. See the Lily Pool, a magical spot that was designed by famed urban landscape architect Alfred Caldwell and is now a national historic landmark. Leave the gardens behind and head to the Lincoln Park Zoo, one of the oldest in America, and home to gorillas, lions, tigers and other exotic creatures.

 

After hanging out with the monkeys, head along the newly designed Lincoln Park Nature Boardwalk that weaves its way along the biologically diverse South Pond. Listen as your guide recounts stories of this great park, which began its life as Chicago’s first cemetery. Head north to see the interior of the Elk National Memorial, a beautiful neoclassical structure adorned with marble and filled with luxurious Persian rugs.

 

After working up an appetite refuel with a Chicago-style hotdog from the Weinercircle, one of the city's most famous hotdog joints where the workers are notoriously rude to the customers! Feed any sweet cravings with a delicious gourmet cupcake from Molly’s Cupcakes.
