Itinerary:
Begin your Copenhagen travel adventure at Christianshavns Metro Station on the ground level, where your tour guide will welcome you.
Once leaving the station, our Copenhagen tour takes you along Christianshavns canals that are lined with old buildings that once housed the Navy in the 1700’s. Alongside the canal you will see historical architecture like the Vor Frelser Kirke (Our Savior Church).
We then enter Christiania, an old naval base that today is a free place with a relaxing and very cosy atmosphere right in the middle of Copenhagen. This is a unique Copenhagen travel experience as you get the feeling you are out of a big city, yet only steps away.
From there our Copenhagen walking tour continues over and along the old defense fort inside Christianshavn where we will walk under the busiest bridge in Copenhagen, Langebro, to Islands Brygge.
Here you will have the opportunity to relax for a moment, grab a cup of coffee and take in this oasis of the city. The Copenhagen day tour continues with a walk along the harbour, crossing it on the new walking bridge. This will take us to Vesterbro and the old Meat City of Kødbyen where you will be able to see how Copenhagen has been developing over the years. From once being an industrial area, to a new and high-class place, Copenhagen is now dotted with cafés and clubs attracting the cool and hip crowd.
Towards the end of our Copenhagen tour we will pass through the busy Main Station to explore the architecture and life that has developed here. The adventure ends at the Copenhagen Cityhall Plaza, Københavns Rådshusplads.
