Cooking Caribbean is our open-air culinary adventure - an encounter with Dominica’s nature, flavours and traditions. On this Dominica day tour you will prepare, create and sample traditional Caribbean dishes and fruit cocktail blends from local produce, and learn about the herbs, fruits and fresh organics used in our cuisine.

Itinerary:

Cooking Caribbean is an open-air culinary adventure, where you will learn about Dominican family lifestyles. On this Dominica day tour, you’ll also create traditional Caribbean dishes and fruit cocktail blends from fresh produce and local rum.

Your day begins with a bus ride from the wharf to our home nestled in the tropical rainforest. En route, take in the panoramic view of the lush landscape punctuated by the colours of flowering trees, bougainvilleas, lilies and enormous bamboos.

On arrival, you are greeted by your hostess. She will introduce you to the herbs and fresh organic products that will be used.

Next, feast on mouth-water dishes that you created served with Caribbean desserts, fruit and rum punch.

There are plenty of other activities on offer here. Enjoy views of the mountains or the Caribbean Sea, or stroll around the property learning about local fruit and spices. Whichever you choose, we guarantee full servings of fun, rum, and laughter.

On completion of this Dominica sightseeing tour, you return to the wharf.
