  Even in winter, Durban has a temperate climate. However, it is also unpredictable. Layered clothing is recommended and it is important to respect the city’s varied cultures and wear conservative clothing (less-revealing tops or short skirts. Shorts should be knee-length. For the Zulu Heritage Trail, please be sensible about displaying money and jewellery
