Itinerary:

Get a different perspective on one of the world’s most beautiful harbour cities on the Hobart Paddle tour.

There’s no better way to view this vibrant city than on the water, with the backdrop of Mount Wellington looming in the distance.

This relaxed, tour hour tour includes a safety briefing and paddling instruction from your local guide, before taking to the water in stable, double kayaks.

Gentle paddle along the shoreline, paddling past Battery Point, named after a battery of guns that was built on the point in 1818, before heading towards Salamanca Place. Paddle past the rows of sandstone buildings, formerly the warehouses supporting Hobart’s vibrant maritime and boat-building industries, and that have since been converted into restaurants, galleries and shops. This is truly a Hobart tour like no other!

Learn about the city and its people as we weave among the tall ships, working fishing boats, sleek yachts and modern cruisers dotted on Constitution dock. During December, this is the hub of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race, one of the world’s most important – and difficult – races. A must-see during your Hobart travels.

After working up an appetite, enjoy some fresh fish and chips bought straight from a dockside fish punt so that you don’t even have to leave your kayak! Soak up views of the city while feasting on just-caught fish for a fitting end to this amazing tour in Hobart.
