Need a quick intro to the city? Toss aside your guidebook and instead get the Moscow scoop straight from those who know it best: the locals who live here!
Join us for a casual meet-up and mini tour that starts at Solovetsky Stone Monument. This stone is an important landmark in Moscow, serving as a memorial to all the political prisoners in the USSR. It’s located in the heart of Moscow, in a very picturesque square and surrounded by historical buildings. We’ll show you around the area and share stories and secrets of the former KGB headquarters, the “Children’s World” store, and the polytechnic museum.
We’ll also head over to an area known as “White Moscow” where you’ll learn more about how the city was built, find out what the “Moscow Circles” mean, and see a few hidden gems, such as a 17th-century manor and much more.
Once we’ve done our walk around, we’ll end up at a local coffee shop, where we can sit and chat, and we’ll share with you a few tips and tricks of travelling around Moscow.
Think of it as a meet-up and info desk all rolled into one — you’ll get the tips you need to know from those who are in-the-know, then kick back and relax with some new friends in a new city. There’s no better way to tap into local life in Moscow!
Inclusions: Local English-speaking expert to answer all your questions; short tour around one of the historical neighbourhoods in the heart of Moscow.
Exclusions: Transportation to and from the meet-up point, food and drinks.
Your Trip: As this is a meet-and-greet with other travellers and not a standard tour, the size of the group may be more than our typical Urban Adventures limit of 12 people.
