Known for its birding (the Audubon Society's annual bird count has spotted over 500 species in 24 hours!), Soberania National Park is full of wildlife and is a wonderful place to watch for monkeys, sloth, the Harpy Eagle and plenty more.

Continuing on we will stop for a bite at the Gamboa Rainforest Resort and take in the views of the Chagres River. Feed and ready to continue we will visit an authentic Indian village. This is an opportunity to learn about the local community , their culture, customs, history, art, music and dance. As part of the visit we hike along the trails through the rainforest, visit a waterfall and check out traditional fishing methods.

Tipping:

If you are happy with the services provided by your local guides and drivers a tip - though not compulsory - is appropriate. While it may not be customary to you, it is of great significance to the people who will take care of you during your travels, inspires excellent service, and is an entrenched feature of the tourism industry across many Intrepid Urban Adventures destinations. Please consider this when budgeting for your extra expenses on this tour
