Join us for the perfect Parisian evening! Embark on a delicious adventure with this three-hour Paris tour that stops off at iconic wine bars, bistrots, and brasseries. It’s time to put your foodie game face on as you get ready to enjoy some iconic French food, wine, and craft beers.
The best things to do in Paris often revolve around food and wine. On this Paris tour, you’ll try some of the city’s famous specialties, from snails to cheese to charcuterie, always paired with a carefully selected wine or beer. You’ll start your indulgent evening out on Place de la Bastille, the iconic spot where the former Bastille prison once stood, and where the French Revolution started. Learn about this significant part of history that still defines the French people.
From the Bastille, we’ll move to our first stop, an historic bistrot that looks exactly as it did a century ago, where we’ll try our first bite. We’ll continue the tour in the Faubourg Saint-Antoine, formerly a very working-class neighbourhood known for its furniture artisans and role in the French Revolution.
Next, we’ll reach one of Paris’ most quintessential markets, Marché d’Aligre. In this bustling market full of delicious local products, we’ll stop at a cheese seller to pair French cheese with beer. Yes this might sound unusual if you’re more used to wine pairings, but trust us: French cheeses and Parisian craft beers go very, very well together.
From here, we’ll move on a couple of blocks away and stop in one of Paris’ oldest beer bars that serves over 300 different types of beer. You’ll get to try three different samples from three very different kinds of beer, with some little bites to go with each.
Finally, we’ll move on a bit further to our final stop, one of the city’s most famous wine bars. A friendly wine paradise, this bar serves locals and visitors with equal passion, and you might still find old barrels where neighbourhood locals can just come and fill their empty bottle for a few euros. Here you’ll learn about the long history of wine-production in France, while tasting wine of course (and pairing with cheese).
Here the tour comes to an end. You can head back to one of your new favourite bars, or your local guide will be happy to point you in the direction of your accommodation.
