Jump on an electromobile and explore the town squares, head into the Gutmana cave, and wander through the grounds of the Museum Reserve to Turaida Castle.
Itinerary
Get back to nature in the beautiful town of Sigulda. From Riga, travel by train to the town often called the Switzerland of Vidzeme because of its natural beauty. Once there jump aboard electromobiles to tour the city in comfort, without disturbing the nature of the area.
Nestled in the Gauja Valley, this city dates back to the 13th century and has plenty of sights to explore. Thanks to the electromobiles you’ll be able to explore sights out of reach of cars or buses. Travel through Panorama and Walk-Stick squares, gaze up at medieval castles and explore the depths of Gutmana cave. Spend time exploring the grounds at the Museum Reserve and get an up close look at Turaida Castle which dates back to 1214.
Be sure to stop during the day for a traditional Latvian lunch at one of the many restaurants.
Finish with the opportunity to travel on the popular Sigulda air tram from Krimulda to Sigulda. Return to Riga on the 15:40 train.
