Itinerary
Plan to arrive at the Sydney Urban Adventures office about 15 minutes before your tour starts. After meeting your local guide you'll be measured up for your bike and walked through our safety procedures. We'll also discuss the route and the plan for the day.
Before we commence the actual tour, we'll give you a chance to get your 'bike legs' and we'll make sure you are both comfortable and confident about the ride ahead.
We head off through the laneways of the historic Rocks precinct, winding our way through back streets and around the historic wharves of the old docks. From there we'll give you a chance to exert yourself as we climb to Sydney's highest natural point - Observatory Hill, with its spectacular views out to western Sydney. On a clear day you can even see the Blue Mountains!
We then get the chance to do something that most locals have not even done ... ride over the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge. We'll take a leisurely tour around the northern side of the harbour and check out some of Sydney's most expensive real estate. You'll even get to see our Prime Minister's Sydney residence.
We'll wind our way back down to the harbour-front with its unparalleled views of the city skyline. We'll journey under the Harbour Bridge to Luna park and then explore the area around Lavender Bay, where we take a well-earned break on the harbour's edge. Then it's back over the Sydney Harbour Bridge to Circular Quay.
Once back on the southern side of the harbour we'll take in the hustle and bustle of our busy waterfront with its spectacular views across to the Sydney Opera House and the waterfront precinct of Circular Quay.
From there we'll climb back up into the Rocks area and finish our tour at the Sydney Urban Adventures office.
