Itinerary
Hollywood, LA’s movie hotspot, to experience Mann’s Chinese Theater and Kodak Theater with Hollywood sign backdrop. It’s a chance to glimpse your favorite actors and actresses; if not in the flesh, catch their stars on the Walk of Fame.
An LA institution for more than 75 years, the Farmers Market has grown from a 1934 makeshift gathering of local farmers selling fresh produce out of trucks, to an extraordinary array of tantalizing food stalls, artisans, music, and of course, fresh produce. Lunch is not included to allow you the freedom to choose from the vast array of food available.
After lunch, browse a specialty second hand clothing shop for fashion items used in movies and on television. Drive through chic Beverly Hills, for a glimpse of homes to the rich and famous. Then stroll one the most renowned shopping streets in the world, Rodeo Drive.
Cruising down a stretch of the historic Route 66 will lead us to the Pacific coast. Before the beach, enjoy a stroll along the little-known canals of LA’s Venice. Modeled after the canals of Venice (Italy), beautiful homes and pastoral setting make for a fascinating contrast to LA’s hustle.
Finish your day with a quintessential LA experience on a laid back Cali beach cruiser (bicycle). Soak up the local culture, SoCal sun, and Pacific breeze on this leisurely 3 mile ride (approx 5 km). From lively Venice Beach, home to Muscle Beach, funky shops, and eclectic locals to the picture postcard Santa Monica Pier and back, this easy pedal along the beach is rewarding end to your LA getaway.
Your local guide will drive group back the start point where you are free to continue your own personal exploration.
