Itinerary
Get a taste of Sydney's history, in one of it's most interesting and vivacious precincts. Try the local brew and visit some of the city's most atmospheric pubs on this tour through the Rocks' winding lanes and cobblestone alleys. The place of Sydney's first European settlement, the Rocks has evolved unrecognisably from its crowded, convict beginnings. Once the home of sailors, whalers and questionable figures, the Rocks is now one of the city's last remaining historical centres and it's small alleys are best explored on foot.
6pm .Starting at from Cadman's Cottage, Sydney's oldest house, meet your friendly local guide and begin your tour winding through the convict-built lanes, stopping off at three atmospheric pubs along the way. Hear stories of the locals, past and present, visit the oldest pub in Sydney now serving the most innovative ales. Enjoy a free drink in each of the pubs you visit and find a favourite to return to after the tour ends.
If you are keen, finish up with a tasty meal at one of the adjoining restaurants. Get a local's perspective on this historical area and relax with a refreshing brew at the end of the day during this iconic Sydney experience.
