Fascinated by Polish culture? Want to learn about the country that’s famous for pierogi and vodka (and much, much more)? Chat with a local Krakow guide on this interactive virtual experience, and uncover everything you want to know about Poland. Hear stories from the Communist era, learn about folk traditions and superstitions, and pick up a few Polish phrases. Then put your newfound knowledge to the test with an interactive trivia game, and maybe even win a prize!
Your virtual Krakow experience will begin with some friendly introductions so you can get to know your localhost and the others participating in your experience from around the globe.
Together, we’ll then all learn about Polish culture, complete with a trivia game to test your knowledge, and photos and maps to explain local geography and traditions. Your host will even be dressed in a traditional Polish folk costume!
Over the course of one hour, you’ll learn what it was like to live in communist Poland, how to say a few Polish phrases, and what you should know before you visit. You’ll get the inside story on local traditions like why the Polish water themselves to invite spring, or why the last drop of vodka is always saved for good luck and for the dwarfs who are believed to live among us.
At the end of your lesson in all things Polish, we’ll announce a trivia game-winner, who will receive a special certificate promoting their Polish knowledge, plus 50% off any Krakow Urban Adventure in the future.
