Culture shock rating
Worried we’re going to shock your senses? Relax! We believe part of the fun of travel is immersing yourself in the destination and its culture, meeting the people, and learning what makes the place tick. We’ve got a wide range of tours with something for everybody. The cultural shock rating ranks how different the experience is from most Western cultures. But no matter the level, don’t worry, you’ll have a local, in-the-know guide with you every step of the way.
Low
Consider these tours your 101 intro to a place. Transportation might be private or a very comfortable public option, and the activities are usually visits to iconic sites and locations that are familiar to most Western cultures – but that will still give you fantastic insight into a destination.
Medium
Expect to rough it for parts of this tour, whether that’s on a packed public bus or in a local market off the tourist trail. There might be a few language barriers or unfamiliar cultural customs, and you’ll get an experience different from what you're used to at home.
High
You're out there in the global community! We’re going to take you down streets you’d rarely explore on your own, introduce you to local customs and languages, and take you for a ride in whatever transport is available. Get ready to take it as it comes, whatever comes. There might be a shock, but oh man, it’s worth it.

Physical rating
Worried our tours are too tough? Relax! From leisurely strolls to muscle-burning treks, we’ve got a wide range of tours with something for everybody. The physical grading gives you an idea of how much huffing and puffing you can expect on the tour.
Low
Slow and steady is all you need here. These tours have very limited physical activity, such as walking relatively flat streets, sites, or markets, and climbing in and out of the transport provided.
Medium
Not too hard, not too soft, these tours are just right! You can expect a bit of physical activity, but nothing overly challenging – perhaps walking up and down hills, riding a bike for up to 30 kilometers along mostly flat terrain, or jumping in a kayak for a gentle paddle on flat water.
High
Get ready for a workout! These tours are our most challenging and involve intense walking, hiking, kayaking, swimming, or bike riding. You could be making steep climbs by foot or pedal, or working your core in the water. We recommend you have a good level of fitness to join this tour.

Ready for the ultimate day out in Las Vegas? This tour combines two of our favorite Vegas experiences (Las Vegas Casino Games on The Strip: Insider Tips & Tricks and Only on The Strip: Las Vegas Food Tour) for one epic adventure on The Strip!
Your tour starts outside the iconic Caesar’s Palace. After hearing a bit about Vegas’ gaming history, you’ll head inside one of the mega hotels on The Strip to learn about the ever-present slot machines. Your guide will give you the rundown on this iconic Vegas game, and then you’ll have a chance to play them for yourself.
You’ll then head over to one of the more sophisticated hotels in town where you’ll learn about one of the most exciting and, to some, intimidating games: craps.
Next, it’s off to a hotel that embodies vintage Vegas at its best where you’ll hear all about the not-so-secret ties of old Las Vegas to the mafia and men like Bugsy Siegel. Your guide will also get a chance to show off a game of her/his choice.
You’ll then make your way to a hotel, casino, and shopping and entertainment promenade to experience one of the newest ways to enjoy gambling in Las Vegas. Not relegated to the casino floor, here, gambling gets a truly modern makeover.
After a few hours of gaming it's time to switch gears and do some eating – you’re about to enter the world of Las Vegas food! We’ll begin at a replica for one of the world’s top global gastronomic hubs – the New York New York hotel.
Your first taste of Vegas will tap into that global and cultural influence the Las Vegas food scene has become known for. Who ever thought that you could find the best sushi in the country, a modern food hall, and authentic New York-style pizza, all under the same roof in the Nevada desert?
As we stroll The Strip, your guide will talk about the brand culture that’s so prevalent in the city, and your next stop will feature some famous food or drink-related branding magic. You may marvel at towering candy sculptures, check out the foreign equivalents of well-known soda brands, or even witness a taco-lover’s dream wedding.
Next up, you’ll enjoy a bite or two at one of the coolest spots on The Strip, where art and presentation take center stage.
At our final stop, it’s all about unique and creative spaces – something Vegas is well known for. We may visit a Vegas-style beer garden, enjoy a drink with an epic view, or even check out a 4-story bar designed to look like a massive champagne flute!
After an epic day of eating and gambling, your tour will end in the heart of it all, so be sure to ask your guide for recommendations for dinner or any other can’t-miss experiences in Las Vegas.
