There’s nothing like a cosy night indoors listening to good music
Le Duc des Lombards is probably one of the classiest Jazz clubs around town. You can listen to some great artists while indulging in delicious dishes and drinks. The atmosphere is cosy, the musicians brilliant, and it’s just a great place for a romantic jazz-infused evening.

You definitely have to check out one of the most iconic Parisian Jazz clubs!
This is one of the most well-known Parisian jazz clubs. Located in the heart of the 1st arrondissement, Le Sunset is famous for its jazz fusion. The stage is packed full of amazing artists, and the jam sessions are insane. The club is actually a beautiful, old vault cellar, so if the crowded, sweaty atmosphere isn’t your thing, you’ll probably want to skip this one.
Fun fact: Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock visited Le Sunset in the late 80s. Legendary. Also, if you’re a fan of electro-jazz, you’ll be happy to know that Le Sunset has a little brother called Le Sunside.

If you want to time travel back to the ’50s, you need to pay a visit to Le Caveau de la Huchette. The atmosphere is crazy — there’s dancing, crooners, brass bands, an orchestra, and the sound of hot jazz filling the air every night. The building is 500 years old and has been frequently compared to a cellar or labyrinth.

Le New Morning is an all-around great place to spend an evening
In 1981, Art Blakey played the first tune at Le New Morning and musicians like Archie Shepp or Chet Baker have also played shows here. While jazz remains a staple and is always up front and centre, Le New Morning invites musicians from a variety of genres like reggae, folk, blues, and rock (especially in the summer).

Le Baiser Salé is probably the most adventurous club on this list. Conceived in the ’80s, this is a crazy place where young talents are discovered, and old ones come back. The director’s motto is something along the lines of freedom for the artists — so if you’re into new experiences, this is definitely your spot. (Also, if you’re into rum, you’ll be happy to know that this club specialises in it!)
