Summer in Perth is amazing, and you can count on the weather being amazing here for the whole season, more so than any other city in Australia.
To us, that sort of picturesque beautiful weather can mean only one thing……hitting the beach for some sand and surf! Perhaps you want to learn to surf, work on that holiday tan, or just do a bit of people watching…well Perth has an unbelievable selection of beaches for you to do any or all of the above. Whether you want a packed surf beach like Scarborough or something a bit more relaxed like one of the remote beaches on Rottnest Island, we promise the weather and water will be perfect.
But if you hit up Perth in the summer, try not to spend all of your time at the beach – the best part of summer in Perth is without a doubt the festival season. It all starts with FRINGE WORLD and its Cultural Centre hub that is set up in Northbridge from January 24th to February 23rd 2014. FRINGE WORLD overlaps with the Perth International Arts Festival that runs from February 7th to March 1st 2014, providing over a month’s worth of incredible entertainment throughout the summer. Please, please don’t miss it!
