Good morning, Chiang Mai! Wake up to local life with a bright-and-early food tour that gives you a literal taste for this northern Thai town
Your Taste of Chiang Mai tour starts with a visit to the Three Kings Monument, an impressive Chiang Mai landmark. Then we’ll walk to Wat Chedi Luang and visit the giant pagoda and the Chiang Mai city pillar that dates back over 700 years. We’ll then have some local coffee along the way.
The tour continues to Wua Lai Road, where we can visit the world’s first silver temple and the home of silversmiths at Wat Sri Suphan. From there, we will take a local songthaew ride (those famous red trucks/taxis) to visit Warorot Market, where you can find better prices than at the city’s touristy markets. Explore the food market, clothing market, and flower market, and try some local snacks and fresh fruit. Enjoy a local lunch such as Khao Soy or another tasty noodle dish near this local market.
Before you go, don’t forget to ask your expert local guide for more tips on what else to see, do and eat during your stay in Chiang Mai.
