They say it’s practically impossible to get to know a Copenhagener as an outsider unless you’re out having a good time with a drink in your hand. So on this tour, you will be introduced to a good time with locals and like-minded travellers, as well as get to experience some of the best drinks in town.
You’ll kick off the tour at Kongens Nytorv, in front of the Royal Theatre. We’ll then take a small hidden street to picturesque Nyhavn. Here your local expert guide will let you in on all the secrets of how to snap some of the most breathtaking images of the most photographed spot in Denmark.
This will conveniently lead us to a small wine bar with a huge reputation. You’ll hear how this wine bar is completely organic and how they cater to one of the world’s best restaurants, NOMA, before you’re introduced to two orange and completely organic wines that you of course will taste.
With an appetite for more, you’ll head further down the waterfront soaking up its stunning views. Here your local expert guide will point out some hidden trampolines that you’re of course free to bounce up and down on (you're on vacation, after all!) if you want, while telling you about how important community is to Danes, and how we safe-guard this through rituals and traditions both old and new.
On that note, we’re at a secret tucked-away gem hidden in plain sight. Here we will climb its stairs and gaze upon what we believe is the best view in Copenhagen! From here you can admire how Copenhagen has become a vibrant city showcasing the old and new side-by-side at twilight while you sip on the preferred nectar of Danes – an organic Danish craft beer.
On the ground again, you will head through the beautiful castle garden of Christiansborg Palace before heading through some of the oldest and most charming streets of Copenhagen. Soak up the charming evening ambiance before entering your last stop – an innovative trendy bar, located in a timber- framed building that is exactly what you make it. Once inside, sip on a fresh iced cocktail made with ice-cream made by some of the best mixologists in town.
You’re free to stay out after this drink and we definitely recommend it, but the tour ends here. Before you leave though, don’t forget to ask your local guide for more tips on what else to experience during your stay in Copenhagen.
