Those who seek paradise on Earth must come to Dubrovnik,” so wrote a smitten George Bernard Shaw after a visit to the Dalmatian Coast nearly one hundred years a go. Very little has changed since then (except for the increasing numbers of visitors each year –thanks a lot Game of Thrones). Not only does the city boast a dizzying assortment of exquisite palaces, churches and monasteries, as well as spell-bounding views from atop the city walls, it’s also the gateway to the stunning Dalmatian Coast with its picture-perfect islets, renaissance parks and sprawling lemon and orange groves, all waiting to be explored. Take a unique tour with Urban Adventures and discover the highlights and hidden gems of Dubrovnik and beyond.

We had such a great tour with Iwa as our guide. The sampling of foods were fantastic. Iwa made us feel like we had been old friends returning for a visit and not at all like strangers. She was so personable and knowledgeable about the Croatian history as well as foods.
This tour is extremely well designed. Starting at 7:45 it was timed perfectly to begin just after all the deliveries had been through the city but before the hoards of visitors arrived. The guide gave a really nice orientation of the old town, introducing the history and interesting facts about the city but without going into too much detail. We walked through all of the main areas and the guide offered suggestions for things that could be done after the tour finished. At the end we finished with a coffee in the central markets.
Iva in Urban Adventures Dubrovnik exceed our expectations from a tour guide. She thoroughly explain the story and facts of Dubrovnik old town, and even better we had a great discussion after and we part as friends
