Home of the famous South Beach, Art Deco District, Design District, Wynwood, and Little Havana, Miami is just as hot and trendy as you think it is. We’re talking amazing nightlife, stylish hotels, fantastic food, and one of the coolest beach strips in the world (beach-blanket people-watching should be a sport in this city). Historically, Miami may have been the “Gateway to the Caribbean,” but trust us, it’s more than a stop on your way south. So why not take a tour and stay awhile?

It was like joining a sister for an afternoon outing! Annafreed was knowledgeable about all of it, we had a Blast during the tour and drinks after! We’d recommend it to everyone we know.
I spent a lovely afternoon on the Little Havana + Wynwood combo tour with Dayana. There were 3 other people for the Little Havana tour, and then 2 others joined us in Wynwood for a combined group of 6 plus Dayana, so I really enjoyed the small group size and the fact that Dayana (a Cuban native) was able to answer all of our questions. The sights we saw were great, and the food and drinks were delicious. Normally I don't love that on food tours you only get to taste little bites (they'll order something and cut it in 3 or 4 pieces) but in this case it turned out to be the right amount of food; I didn't go hungry or feel the need to order something extra. My only criticism would be that it would've been nice to get a full cup of coffee at the bakery café in Little Havana; we were only given a thimbleful to taste. Also, everyone seems to rave about the ice cream shop on the main strip, and I would've loved to make a stop there, even if we had to pay for our own ice cream.
I didn't mind this since I had all day, but just as an FYI for anyone else considering booking one or both of these tours, the timing of the tours did seem a bit off. The Little Havana tour was supposed to be from 11am-1pm and Wynwood from 2-4pm, but we didn't leave Little Havana until 2pm, arriving around 2:30pm, and finished up there around 5. Dayana said this was not uncommon, so it seems like Urban Adventures should update the times on their site. Again, I didn't mind and no one else in our group was in a rush either, and I appreciated that we were able to relax and take our time rather than rushing from stop to stop, but for anyone booking these tours who is on a tight schedule, be aware that this could happen!
Our guide was the BEST! I think her name was Antonia (SP?) SHe was knowledgeable let us ask as many questions as we wanted and we very accommodating to everyone in the group. I love the Urban Adventure Walking Tours
My guide was from Cuba and explained how the neighbourhood was established and the personal journey of some of the proprietors in the area. I also sampled local food and drink which was a great treat.
