Gardening is a great way to ease stress, especially when your garden is packed with plants and herbs that have natural healing properties. In this interactive, online experience, your local guide will welcome you into their garden in Hanoi, to teach you how to use herbs to relax and soothe your body. You’ll meet your guide live, from the comfort of your own home, and get to share your own experience with gardening and herbal remedies. Your host will introduce you to the different plants and vegetables in their garden, which reflect the Vietnamese way of life and are commonly used in local cuisine. Then, it’s time for the healing! Learn about the different herbs that are used as medicine and how to prepare your own herbal compress. Your host will also teach you a few basic Vietnamese massage techniques, using the freshly made compress, to ease pain and stress in your back, neck, head, and shoulders. Once you’ve fully relaxed, your host will take you out into their neighbourhood to show you what daily life is like in Hanoi. You may even get to meet some local farmers living in the heart of city. To make your own compress, you will need: Piece of cloth String to tie the herbal compress 0.5 grams lemongrass 0.5 grams sage, rosemary, or any available herbs A small amount of coconut oil
