Women-Led is our new range of tours, designed to both empower women and celebrate multiculturalism within our cities. They're created in partnership with Women in Travel, a UK-based social enterprise that helps women find economic independence through training, mentoring and networking opportunities in the tourism and hospitality industry.

These women have often fled extraordinary circumstances. Our guides Ella, Sefanit and Kaoutar arrived in the UK from Albania, Ethiopia and Morocco, with little money, limited English and no connections. Now, with the help of Intrepid Urban Adventures and Women in Travel, they are working as tour guides, taking travellers into their communities and showing first-hand how traditions and cultures can transcend borders.

Women-Led Experiences are part of our broader In Focus line-up, run in partnership with local NGOs, non-profits and social enterprises. Tours are currently available in London, and we hope to offer more cities soon.
