I AM SO EMBARRASSED that I flaked out on you. I KNEW it was a walking tour when I booked it, but I had been traveling for 1 1/2 wks and frankly had spaced out once I got to Philly. HORRIBLE DRIVING experience and left car parked and did all that holiday light walking stuff instead of things like going to Frank Lloyd Wright and Morris Arboretum and the Aquarium and Farm lights out somewhere and New Hope Train trip and so Philly BECAUSE I WAS NOT GOING TO EVER DRIVE IN PHILLY again, so I had done all that walking instead. I felt so bad. Probably the guide could have shown me dept, hotels lobbies whatever but I had already walked to Barnes and Art Museum and Rittenhouse that day and had just flaked at that point. Sorry. I will contact you to make sure the guide gets a tip. I have had these tours cancel for not enough people. SO FELT DOUBLY bad. I will contact you tomorrow and get $ straightend out. NO REFUND request for me of course. I again apologize. I wish I would have done it the first noc. I just blew it.

This was an absolutely fantastic tour. We thoroughly enjoyed it with Everlyn, our wonderful "guide". The tour didn't feel like a tour at all but a day spent with a friend. She introduced us to local foods and historical stories that aren't your typical tour experience. We had chances to interact with locals that helped us appreciate the people and the city better. The day was fun filled and Everlyn helped create lifetime memories for us..

This trip was the highlight of our holiday to Fiji. We were looking for something away from the masses and this trip certainly supplied that. We were doing all the touristy things in and around Nadi, but hiking to a waterfall with just us and our fantastic guide Ray was an experience I'll never forget. The weather wasn't our friend, with quite a bit of rain, but when you're standing behind a waterfall and getting the drenched from that, what's a little rain anyway?!? I loved that the track wasn't easy, as the sense of fulfilment was magnified as a result. Ray was brilliant with his knowledge of the mountains, the plants and of course the Fijian culture. To visit the village after our hike and eat a traditional meal hosted by a local family is something I will cherish also. The friendliness of Fijians is not a charade, there is a genuine care and concern from everyone you meet and the village folk where exceptionally caring. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone wanting to get away from the tourism bubble for a day, immerse yourself in the fascinating culture and challenge yourself with a fantastic hike. And of course this wouldn't be possible if it weren't for the care and consideration of the man that has put so much effort into developing the program. Ray was a gem, a true gentleman, full of interesting facts and with a genuine desire to ensure an interesting and safe trip was had by us. Thanks for a wonderful day

We have taken a number of Urban Adventurers tours and each one gets better. Our guide was excellent: interesting, engaging, and knowledgeable. We gained insight to Spanish history and Madrid, with the focus on the central old city. We are foodies so the visit to the markets was most interesting. The samplings of Spanish foods, beer, and "Campaign" were great.
