Astrid y Gaston. Iconic restaurant from the Chef Gastón Acurio, have best Ceviche in town and Pisco Sour. You cannot miss this restaurant if you really want to know what Peruvian food is all about. Av. Paz Soldan 290, San Isidro, Lima, Perú.
El Chinito (sandwiches) Perfect for breakfast, most famous Chicharron sandwich that it´s baguette filled with fried crunchy and juicy pork, topped with sweet potato and salsa criolla (onion, lime, rocoto pepper and parsley) the best! Jr. Chancay 894 Cercado de Lima. (Dowtown).
Chifa Titi-The mix of flavors of the Peruvian food with Chinese food it´s amazing it´s called Chifa. You cannot miss this kind of food and the best place to try is Titi Peruvian-Chinese Restaurant. Av. Javier Prado Este 1212 San Isidro. Lima Perú.
Mayta restaurant, in Aymara language means “noble land”. Classic restaurant with traditional food keeping the flavors that were transmit from many generations in our Peruvian gastronomy. Av. Mariscal La Mar 1285, Miraflores, Lima.
El Pan de la Chola. If you feel like wants some bread or pastry this is your shops. Artisanal breads just made them with amazing ingredients, also fresh fruit juices. Av. La Mar 918 Miraflores, Lima.

Bolivar Hotel, have the Cathedral Pisco Sour, one of the most popular ones because the size of the glass and also because is stronger than the normal recipe. Jr. De la Unión 958, Centro de Lima.
El Bar Inglés in the Country Club. This bar prepares the classic Pisco Sour, using the best brands in the country and have a great atmosphere. Los Eucaliptos 590 San Isidro.
Capitán Meléndez. The name came from Roberto Meléndez the barman of this bar for 30 years. His Pisco Sour is good that the bar is consider the temple of the Pisco just because the way how he prepares it!
Huaringas Bar. This place is famous not just for it's traditional Pisco Sour also for the different flavors of Pisco Sour that you can find like the Maracuya (passion fruit) Pisco Sour. Delicious!
Kani Fusión, Nipon restaurant has a different way to prepare the Pisco Sour with Japanese influence, they add wasabi and other secret ingredients that give to the drink a mix of flavors from Perú and Japan.

Huaca Pucllana. This is not just an archaeological site is also an amazing restaurant, best place to go for dinner and admire the Peruvian culture.
Casa ALIAGA. Located in Lima Downtown, this amazing Republic house has an architectures monument from the colonial time.
Mercado de Pescadores de Chorrillos. If you want to see where the fish from the ceviche’s comes from you have to visit this Market located very close to Miraflores area.
Top things to do or avoid in the city (tourist traps, going at a wrong time of day, not buying tickets in advance for x event, things that will ruin your trip, scams, etc.):
Don't go to downtown during the morning. You will find one of the worst traffic in Lima.
Don’t take public transportation after 9pm.
Sundays, rent a bike, all the streets around Miraflores to downtown are close for for cars and open for bikers.
